FAQ

Questions, answered

What if I go over my included minutes?

Nothing surprising. We email you at 80%. When your minutes run out, your receptionist pauses — unless you've turned on pay-as-you-go overage ($0.35/min on Starter, $0.30/min on Pro). Overage is off until you say otherwise.

What is the $15 setup fee?

A one-time charge on your first invoice that covers getting your dedicated business phone number. It never repeats, and your monthly price stays exactly what the plan says.

Do I need a phone number first?

No — we get you a real local number the moment you subscribe, in your area code whenever one's available. If your exact area code is out of stock we'll say so plainly and give you the closest one, and you can ask us to swap it later.

Can I change plans or cancel later?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime — no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees.

What does it actually do on a call?

It answers as your business, handles the questions it knows (hours, services, prices you've taught it), takes messages with name, number, and address, and can pass callers straight to your cell when someone asks for a person. Transcripts and summaries land in your workspace and inbox.

Is it recording my callers?

Call recording is off by default. You get written transcripts and summaries instead.
